Panel Upgrades & Replacements
Many of the homes we service still carry original knob-and-tube wiring, Zinsco panels or 100-amp services that were never designed for modern loads — EV chargers, induction ranges, home offices and outdoor living.
We upgrade the service entrance, install modern 200-amp panels with the space you need for the loads you plan to add, and label every circuit so you know exactly what it serves.
If your panel is warm, buzzing, full of triple-tapped breakers or painted over from a past repair, it is worth replacing rather than patching. We will tell you honestly which one you are looking at.

Fire, smoke or immediate danger?
Get everyone away from the area and call 911 first. Do not wait for a callback from us, and do not try to switch anything off yourself. If there is no fire and nobody is in danger, call the office on (561) 863-7304 during our office hours (weekdays 8 AM to 4 PM) and we will schedule the visit.

Frequently asked questions
Anything else you would like to know, call us and ask.
How do I know if my panel needs replacing?
Common signs are a panel that is full with no room for a new circuit, breakers that trip repeatedly, warm or buzzing breakers, a scorch mark on the dead front, aluminum wiring, or a panel brand that has been recalled. We can inspect yours and tell you plainly.
Will my power be out during the upgrade?
Yes — the power has to be disconnected for part of the day. We schedule the outage with you in advance and make the turnaround as short as the job allows.
Do I need a permit for a panel upgrade?
Yes, a service upgrade is permitted and inspected. We handle the permit and the inspection as part of the job.
